Jen in a psychotherapist originally from Ireland. She has been practicing psychotherapy since 2019 and has been working and living in Canada since 2021. She completed part of her education in Ireland, and the remainder in the US. She has been able to combine this unique education to encompass multicultural practices observed in both Europe and North America. It is her duty and love of psychotherapy that allows her to offer a safe and inviting space for people of diverse backgrounds and cultures, all kinds of experiences and beliefs, from a place of empowerment and curiosity. She invites you to teach her as much about you and your way of life as she can teach you about taking care of your mental health.
Sessions are driven to be person-centred and can incorporate any amount of structure that feels most comfortable to you. She has a passion for working with individuals who have had very difficult life experiences, that many others may not understand. She has specified training in working with trauma and PTSD as well as anxiety and depression. She has also helped people with a number of concerns relating to emigration, infidelity, emotional dysregulation, burnout, and life transitions. Whatever your concerns are, initial sessions can focus on getting to know you and your goals and ultimately progress to making real, lasting changes.
